A Wire Join Is Only as Safe as the Component That Makes It

In electrical wiring, every point where two conductors are joined is a point where insulation, conductivity, and mechanical security all need to be present simultaneously. A joint with good conductivity but poor insulation is a short-circuit risk. A joint with good insulation but poor wire retention pulls free under tension or vibration. A joint that is difficult to install introduces error and inconsistency across a large wiring task. Paprsky Safety-Type Wire Joints address all three requirements in a single component - a UL-certified Nylon 66 shell with a long internal copper tube that holds the conductor firmly, conducts reliably, and insulates completely across seven size variants covering 1.25mm² to 16mm² conductor sizes.

What Are Safety-Type Wire Joints?

Safety-type wire joints are insulated wire connection sleeves used to join two electrical conductors end to end within a single protected housing. The conductor insulation is stripped back, the bare wire end is inserted into the copper tube at the centre of the joint, and the connection is secured using standard pincers or a crimping tool to compress the copper tube firmly around the conductor. The external nylon shell provides complete electrical insulation over the entire joint, protecting the connection from accidental contact, moisture, and mechanical damage. The long copper tube design used in Paprsky Safety-Type Wire Joints provides greater conductor contact length than standard short-tube connectors, improving both the mechanical grip on the wire and the conductivity of the completed joint.

Product Information

Paprsky Safety-Type Wire Joints are available in seven variants covering conductor sizes from 1.25mm² up to 16mm², spanning AWG 22 down to AWG 4. The range includes WJ-PS-3 for 1.25mm² conductors, WJ-PS-4 for 2mm², WJ-PS-5 for 5.5mm², WJ-PS-6 for 8mm², WJ-PS-7 for 10mm², WJ-PS-8 for 13mm², and WJ-PS-10 for 16mm², providing coverage across the light control wiring, medium power, and heavier distribution conductor sizes used in control panels, industrial wiring, and general electrical installation work. The outer shell is manufactured from Nylon 66 with UL 94V-2 flame-retardant certification, and the internal tube is copper for efficient electrical conductivity and firm wire retention.

Key Features

  • Long internal copper tube provides greater conductor contact length for efficient electrical conductivity and firm mechanical wire retention
  • UL-certified Nylon 66 shell with UL 94V-2 flame-retardant rating delivers durable insulation and mechanical protection across the complete joint
  • Seven size variants from 1.25mm² to 16mm² covering AWG 22 to AWG 4 for light control wiring through to heavier distribution conductors
  • Simple installation using standard pincers or crimping tools without specialist equipment or additional components
  • Complete external insulation over the entire joint prevents accidental contact, moisture ingress, and mechanical damage at the connection point
  • Secure wire holding capability prevents conductor pull-out under tension and vibration in demanding installation environments

Industrial and Professional Applications

  • Electrical wire joining and termination for connecting conductor ends cleanly and securely across control, power, and signal wiring runs
  • Control panels and distribution boards for joining internal wiring conductors at connection points within panel enclosures and distribution equipment
  • Industrial and commercial electrical wiring for terminating and extending conductors in machinery, equipment, and building electrical systems
  • Equipment wiring and maintenance for making secure, insulated conductor joins during equipment assembly, repair, and wiring modification work
  • General electrical installation work wherever two conductors need to be joined with a secure, insulated, and mechanically reliable connection

Every Joint Held Firmly. Every Joint Insulated Completely.

A wire joint that holds the conductor and insulates the connection is the minimum standard every electrical installation should meet. Paprsky Safety-Type Wire Joints deliver both requirements across seven conductor size variants, with a long copper tube that grips the wire firmly and conducts efficiently, and a UL-certified Nylon 66 shell that protects the joint completely. For control panel wiring, industrial installations, and general electrical work where every conductor join needs to be secure, safe, and built to last, these are the wire joints that meet that standard.
